Job description:

WalktheChat is looking for a front-end developer to join our team and help improve/extend the function of our e-commerce platform. You will work with our marketing team, other front-end developers and our back-end team in order to improve speed, stability, UX and develop new features for clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop new features for our platform through the Vue.js framework
  • Improve speed by implementing server-side rendering to some of our front-end applications
  • Support the development of a testing environment to improve application stability
  • Migrate parts of our code-base from Angular to Vue.js
  • Work with marketing teams in order to improve UX
  • Collaborate with back-end team to help define and improve platform architecture
Skills:
  • Advanced front-end JavaScript knowledge, including extensive experience using React, Angular, Vue, Ember or other similar frameworks
  • Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
  • Experience using REST APIs, web-token authentication and interfaces between front and back-end
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

  • We are located in Beijing Dongzhimen area
  • You can be issued a Chinese working visa (Z) for this position
  • Our back-end stack is a node.js API based on Express
